The Frozen Surfaces Cryo Cap Label is specifically designed for application to already frozen cryovial tube caps. With a specialized permanent acrylic adhesive, it securely bonds at -80°C, ensuring reliable identification for pre-frozen samples. Its thin construction allows for a precise fit on small-diameter caps without peeling or lifting. To achieve proper adhesion, caps must be wiped dry before labeling. This label is intended for manual application and is not compatible with automatic labelers, making it ideal for relabeling and reorganizing frozen cryovials by hand.
These blank labels are made from a thin white polyester designed to remain stable in extreme cold. The material provides excellent durability while maintaining flexibility for secure adhesion to frozen surfaces. Optimized for thermal transfer printing, these labels deliver high-contrast, smudge-resistant print quality for long-term sample tracking.
The kit also includes thermal transfer ribbons designed to complement the cryo labels for optimal performance.
